A key event at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, organised by the UPVD Foundation, the aim of this ceremony is to restore a long-forgotten French tradition to its former glory and to pay a well-deserved tribute to PhD students, while highlighting the wealth of teaching and research conducted at the university.
As a founding member of the UPVD Foundation, Jean Sales had the honour of awarding Annabel Levert (President of SAS AkiNaO) the degree of Doctor of Science for her research into natural plant and marine substances: their characterisation and evaluation of their activities (ecological, pharmacological and agrochemical).
